Theatrefullstop team up with acclaimed choreographer and dancer Ash Mukherjee to present a Bharatanatyam workshop at this year’s MOVE IT!

MOVE IT 2016 makes a welcome return, as it will yet again showcase the wealth of dance talent prevalent in the UK. The UK’s biggest dance festival, the multi-faceted event allows for revellers to watch a range of dance acts on the main stage, as well as take part in dance classes and performing arts workshops. Theatrefullstop are also glad to announce that we will also be taking part in this year’s festival, collaborating with renowned choreographer and dance Ash Mukherjee to deliver a Bharatanatyam workshop like no other!

From Friday 18th until Sunday 20th March, MOVE IT 2016 will take over East London’s Excel Centre to immerse crowds in a world of dance. Performers taking part in this year’s event include Akram Khan, Strictly Come Dancing‘s Karen and Kevin Clifton, Britain‘s Got Talent‘s Flawless and Breakin’ Convention to name but a few! There will be dance classes aplenty, ranging from Ballet, Commercial, Contemporary, Hip Hop/Street Dance and genres spanning the World, so MOVE IT promises to be a dance event to remember! Theatrefullstop and Ash Dance Theatre Present…Bharatanatyam will be hosted on Saturday 19th March from 1:45pm to 2:30pm in Studio 2 at the Excel Centre. Tickets cost £4.50 if booked in advance or £5.50 on the door.
