TheatreCraft 2017!

On Friday 3rd November 2017, TheatreCraft will take over the Waldorf Hilton Hotel. If you’re considering a career in theatre, in particular off stage, then TheatreCraft is the event for you! The creation of theatre is a collaborative process, along the way, writers, directors, producers, lighting and sound designers to name a range of creatives have added their contribution to the final product. Join TheatreCraft for a day of workshops, one to one careers advice and more!

TheatreCraft is a free event, with tickets available to book 2 weeks prior. Hear from professionals currently working within the industry and find out how you yourself could forge a successful career behind the scenes. The day will witness a range of events taking place which are:

Workshops – This is your chance to gain a  better understanding of that career you’ve thought of pursuing or are perhaps studying towards. This is your chance to ask questions and learn the basics.

Marketplace – Various organisations will be exhibiting at TheatreCraft. Organisations confirmed are Central School of Speech and Drama, Opera Holland Park, USW Lighting Design, Plymouth College of Art, Orange Tree Theatre, UK Theatre, London Metropolitan University amongst others.

One to One Careers Advice – If you are considering a career off stage and want to figure out how to achieve this, then one to one sessions are on hand to offer feedback on your CV and to talk to industry professionals.
