The sun is shining…summer is just around the corner… so this can only mean one thing… It’s festival season! Whether you’re looking to head over to this year’s Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Edinburgh Festival, the list goes on and on, you’re guaranteed to find something to appeal to you! However, what better way to kick off the festival season than to make your way down to this year’s Brighton Fringe Festival!

Brighton Fringe

The largest theatre festival in England, Brighton Fringe Festival invites those that love to create theatre, and those that love to attend a night or day out at the theatre to participate in the theatrical conversation. Taking over the beautiful seaside town of Brighton, home to the iconic Pavilion, Brighton Fringe Festival promises to offer a range of activities for theatre lovers, completely immersing visitors into the theatrical experience. Whether it’s a piece of serious drama, or experimental installation pieces, inspiring workshops or art installations, there’s something for everyone!

Taking place from Friday 1st to Sunday 31st May, Brighton will witness a total of 3516 shows, in over 700 venues with thousands of performers and visitors. Brighton Fringe Festival is noted for championing the works of new and established artists, allowing for new works to reach a wide and diverse audience. If you’re stuck for something to do this bank holiday weekend, why not make your way to the festival with a group of friends, and have a theatrical fuelled weekend to remember!
