Viral comedian John Dela Cruz (AKA Nurse John) has announced his first-ever headline show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley
on April 23, 2026 — ‘Off the Clock – A Wembley Arena Special’ is a one-night-only event and marks John’s biggest European headline show to date.
The announcement follows recent news of John’s 2026 Europe and UK leg of the Short Staffed Tour – Around the World, which kicks off April 7 in Vienna, Austria at Globe Wien and includes stops in Berlin, Brussels, Oslo, Stockholm, Paris, Manchester, and more before wrapping April 28 in Dublin, Ireland at National Stadium.
“Headlining my own show at Wembley is something I never imagined for myself,” John says in an exclusive statement. “To stand on such a legendary stage where only the most iconic artists have performed and share my comedy with nurses, healthcare workers, and audiences from all over the world is overwhelming in the best way. I’m beyond thankful, unbelievably excited, and ready to share some much-needed laughter, therapy, and a special night to remember with my British besties!”
The 2026 global extension builds on Nurse John’s highly successful debut 2024–2025 Short Staffed Tour, which was produced by John alongside his manager at Select Management, Logan Watkins, and sold out more than 100 shows across North America and moved over 200,000 tickets. This past June, he sold out his first international shows with two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, making the upcoming OVO Wembley Arena date the next major milestone in his UK touring career.
Following the 2025 UK dates, Nurse John continued to Australia and New Zealand, where he sold out every show, totaling more than 80,000 tickets.
