Annie Mac announces first-ever before midnight London residency

Iconic DJ and broadcaster Annie Mac has announced the first-ever Before Midnight London residency, taking place at major cultural hub HERE at Outernet on the last Friday of every month between January – June 2026.

Designed as the perfect remedy for those who adore going out and value their sleep, Before Midnight offers an authentic, euphoric clubbing experience which ends at the stroke of midnight. Injecting life into London’s clubbing scene, the brand-new residency will provide a permanent base for all those who love Before Midnight. Fans can expect extended DJ sets, special guest appearances, and one-off B2B sets at the innovative Outernet.

As part of the new residency, Annie will be introducing a ‘no phones’ policy, encouraging crowds to be present by eliminating the pressure to capture every single moment. Annie first trialled this approach at her sold-out Before Midnight party launching Warehouse Project’s Autumn season this September, describing the atmosphere as “totally electric from the off”.

As an acclaimed tastemaker and industry figure who continues to have a huge influence on clubbing culture, Annie is a trailblazer for delivering uplifting, affordable, safe and inclusive events through her hugely successful clubbing concept Before Midnight and is constantly working to preserve and build on these moments.

Selling out almost immediately, the first ever Before Midnight event took place in May 2022 at London’s Islington Assembly Hall where Annie performed to 900 fans. This summer, a crowd of over 11,000 joined Annie in Gunnersbury Park for Before Midnight in its festival format.

In a career that spans over two decades, Annie has performed on some of the biggest stages of music festivals and clubs around the world. From female artists to emerging talent, Annie has long been the trusted voice of music through her seventeen-year run hosting her flagship new music show on BBC Radio 1, and now through her weekly podcast Sidetracked, which she co-presents with Nick Grimshaw.

Outside of music, Annie has written two critically acclaimed novels, the Sunday Times bestselling Mother Mother and The Mess We’re In, whose rights have been bought for adaptation by It’s All Made Up Productions, the Liverpool based company who co-produced the biggest TV show of 2025 so far, Adolescence.

Annie Mac said: “The Before Midnight parties have been wildly varied, from big festival events to small sweat boxes, but to have the consistency of a London home feels like the apex of everything we have been trying to build. I want to create a community around Before Midnight. I want our audience to feel safe and celebrated in our club nights, no matter who they are, to be able to dance freely. I hope that our no phones policy will provide a richer, more meaningful, memorable experience on the dance floor. I know it changes everything from the perspective of the booth. I’m so looking forward to playing at these parties…”
