Multi-Grammy, Oscar and Emmy Winner Jon Batiste announces four night residency at Koko in London

Multi-Grammy® and Academy Award® winner Jon Batiste today announced that he will bring his boundary-breaking artistry to KOKO in London for a special four-night residency of exhilarating, diverse and concept-driven performances from Wednesday, June 24, 2026, through Sunday, June 28, 2026. The performances are part of the inaugural JON BATISTE WORLD FESTIVAL, curated by Batiste and co–curated by Michael Mwenso, with additional dates to be announced soon.

Each evening of the residency will spotlight a distinct musical concept, underscoring the mastery of Batiste’s borderless artistry and collaborations—including a symphonic evening with orchestra, a fan-driven “by request” performance featuring selections from across his entire catalogue, a night of communal song centered on songs of hope and change with special guests, and, for the first time, a live-band performance of Batiste’s jazz compositions from Disney and Pixar’s Soul, which earned him an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award.
“I’ve been coming to London since my early days as a teen touring pianist with Roy Hargrove, Cassandra Wilson and Wynton Marsalis,” said Batiste.  “Those were very formative times in my artistic development, as well as the start of many forever friendships. To now host a festival of music in the city at KOKO is a dream come true. I can’t wait to see all my London people, my British supporters, and people who will travel from all over the world for this epic moment!  Many thanks to Olly, Nick, Mwenso, UTA, JBI and the team at KOKO for the great work on this inaugural JBWF.”

Batiste continues to expand one of the most wide-ranging bodies of work in contemporary music, spanning nine studio albums, an Oscar-winning film score, an original symphony, a piano series and acclaimed projects across film, television, and live performance. His most recent album, BIG MONEY(released August 2025 via Verve Records/Interscope), won Best Americana Album at the 2026 Grammy Awards, marking his eighth Grammy win.

Other major 2025 milestones included his Super Bowl LIX performance, a sold-out MAESTRO tour, and his work as judge and mentor on the third season of Channel 4’s BAFTA-nominated series The Piano, a music competition show featuring gifted amateur pianists performing in iconic train stations across the UK.  The year prior, Batiste released Beethoven Blues, which spent nine weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Classical Albums chart and topped Billboard’s Classical Crossover and Classical Albums charts for nine consecutive weeks.
