Somerset House Summer Series with American Express announces support acts for 2026 Festival line up
Somerset House Summer Series with American Express has announced ten artists joining the 2026 line-up, supporting this year’s eclectic and standout headliners who’ll be playing one of the UK’s most stunning cultural locations this July.
With a multiple night lineup of trailblazers and figureheads across genre, scene, era and style, 2026’s Summer Series line up reflects individuality and creative expression found across a vast array of genres. Carefully selected in honour of their pioneering, cross-disciplinary cultural work, this year’s artists represent originality and reflect their communities in a way that is completely unique to them. Headliners include Naïka, Palace, Thee Sacred Souls, Lightning Seeds, The Cribs, Agnes Obel, Black Country, New Road, Venna, Raf-Saperra, The Flaming Lips, and Benjamin Clementine.
Joining these incredible names is a stunning and diverse variety of support artists including the north, Truthpaste, Jordss, Peter Gregson, elsas, Cinnamon Gum, Olive Jones, Sunta Templeton from Radio X, Bobby Kang, and DEELA, completing an incredible line-up of performers ready to take over the famous Somerset House courtyard this July.
Also revealed today is news that The Flaming Lips will play an extended two-part set as part of their Saturday headline event.

16th July
Joining Naïka to kick off Somerset House Summer Series 2026 is DEELA. Fusing trap, hip-hop and a dynamic range of influences, her unmistakable flow has seen her become an artist who has captured the attention of fans around the globe and has earned recognition from industry heavyweights such as Baby Keem, Amaaraae, and more. With collaborations with Little Simz and Flo Milli already under her belt, expect a boundary pushing performance at Somerset House Summer Series this July.
17th July
Joining Palace for an already sold-out night at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is the rapturously acclaimed Truthpaste, who have become a hotly talked-about phenomenon in the London music scene over the past 12 months after moving from Manchester. Combining a myriad of influences into a jaw-dropping live sound, the band recently released their debut EP ‘I Don’t Know Either’ after signing to revered label Dirty Hit alongside Memorials Of Distinction.
18th July
Joining Thee Sacred SoulsT at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is the soulful tones of Cinnamon Gum. The Polish maestro’s undeniable voice has seen him become a true gem in the European new artist world, with a strong admiration and love for the soul/funk music born from Philadelphia in the 1970s. Expect him to go down a treat as he joins Thee Sacred Souls for a stunning night this summer.

Joining Lightning Seeds for their matinee performance at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is the unstoppable music jukebox of Sunta Templeton. Renowned for her longstanding role as DJ at Radio X, Sunta is set to drop the ultimate singalong set this summer, perfect to warm up for a seminal band in British music history.
20th July
Joining The Cribs at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is the buzzy new sounds of the north. A band carving their own path in the modern indie world, sold out dates across the country for their soaring guitar sound has seen them emerge as a true one-to-watch – and with a sold out UK headline tour already in the pipeline for the end of the year. Joining indie royalty in The Cribs at Somerset House, it’s set to be the perfect union for a band ready for the very top.

Joining Agnes Obel at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is the stunning Peter Gregson. The renowned composer and cellist’s career has seen him score motion pictures and become a beloved artist whose blending of classical and electronica stands him apart from the rest. Within the confines of the Somerset House courtyard, it’s sure to make for a magical moment this summer.

Joining Black Country, New Road at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is the intoxicating elsas, whose indescribable blend of modern art, electronica, jazz and a fresh twist on alternative music defines her as an artist impossible to define, following the release of latest EP ‘APORIAMOR’. With touches of FKA twigs and a beating heart rooted in her upbringing in Barcelona and London – it’s a perfect fit with a band like Black Country, New Road, who constantly look for their next reinvention and boundary-pushing moment.

Joining Venna at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series isJordss, a trailblazing force in modern DJ culture as the founder of Girls Can’t DJ – a digital network that connects women in the music industry and tackles the inequality experienced. Making a name for herself with landmark festival sets, DJing for Rihanna and much more – Jordss will set the vibe for an incredible night headlined by Venna at Somerset House Summer Series.

Joining Raf-Saperra at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is Bobby Kang. A close collaborator with Raf, he joins the celebrations for a landmark night – bringing together his dynamic fusion of Punjabi roots with rap, soul and lofi beats for a DJ set that’s sure to set the tone for what’s to follow. With turns and guest mixes on Soulection, BBC Radio 1Xtra and Rinse FM to name a few – it’s a family affair for a special night at Somerset House this summer.

Making their set at Somerset House Summer Series even more special, The Flaming Lips will perform an incredible TWO sets at their headline event. Ensuring a full chronicling of an incredible career spanning over 40 years – their show is a prime chance to catch one of the world’s most influential and iconic live acts in the heart of London this summer.

Joining Benjamin Clementine at the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series is Olive Jones. Drawing on soul, jazz and folk into a stunning mix, Olive has emerged as a leading face of the latest British soul renaissance – with her debut album ‘For Mary’ arriving earlier this year and showcasing an artist firmly in command of her craft. Within the picturesque settings of Somerset House, Olive is the perfect accompaniment to Benjamin Clementine bringing the 2026 Somerset House Summer Series to a close.
These new artists add to an incredible festival line-up, located in the heart of Central London, at a venue unrivalled for open-air live music.
Somerset House Summer Series will also play host to mouthwatering street food vendors, curated by pioneers of London’s street food renaissance KERB. These include Only Jerkin, famed for their tasty Caribbean cuisine, and Gully, who’ll be serving ultimate Indian street food to further warm summer evenings with vibrant and fresh flavours.
As a place of joy and discovery at the meeting point of artistic and social innovation, Summer Series offers a unique and rare opportunity to catch artists play special, intimate shows in one of London’s true jaw-dropping spaces – with the likes of Rosalia, Adele, Patti Smith, Amy Winehouse, Olivia Dean, black midi, Jorja Smith, St. Vincent, Tems, Giggs, beabadoobee and many more bringing one-off events to the heart of London over the years.
Somerset House Summer Series will feature as part of Somerset House’s summer offering. Also presented is HOLY POP!, a new exhibition exploring how fan devotion to pop stars and cult icons shapes identity, values and community, and has become a contemporary form of worship. Featuring art, memorabilia and photographs, HOLY POP! uncovers how community is created through the ritual idolisation of celebrities and figures such as David Bowie, Britney Spears, Prince, George Michael and more.
