Latitude Festival 2016 announce dance line up!
So we know the musical line up for this year’s Latitude Festival, with the likes of The Maccabees, The National, New Order, Grimes, Kurt Vile and the Violaters and Of Monsters and Men headlining the weekend from the 14th-17th July. However it’s now time to find out who’ll be joining this not to be missed weekend in the worlds of dance and theatre!
Pioneering London dance venue, Sadler’s Wells return to Latitude with an exciting line up of dance performances, presenting Hofesh Schechter with tHE bAD, Botis Seva / Far From The Norm (Seva – a 24 year old rising star from Dagenham) with HoH, Vamos Cuba!, Gogo Pengiun & Lynne Page, NYDC with In-nocentes, New English Ballet Theatre, A Curious Invitation , Midnight Tango, Swing Patrol and Ivan Blackstock.
The melting pot of theatre acts confirmed this year showcase Latitude’s ethos to celebrate the arts with acts so far including Gob Squad with Super Night Shot, Graeae with Reasons to Be Cheerful, Les Enfants Terribles with The Fantastical Flying Exploratory Laboratory. Additional acts now include Jane Horrocks & the If You Kiss Me, Kiss Me Band, Theatre Ad Infinitum with their show Bucket List and international companies Familie Flöz (Berlin) presenting Teatro Delusio and Svalbard presenting All Genius, All Idiot (Sweden).
In addition, Lavish Design will create a new hybrid two-part art and performance project for Latitude, plus old school friends Adam Buxton and Louis Theroux discuss their work in the film and music area.
