Live Nation and the R&A announce unique partnership to elevate the AIG Women’s Open

Live Nation and The R&A, golf’s global governing body outside of the US and Mexico, have today joined forces to take one of golf’s most entertaining Championships to the next level.

The showpiece of The R&A’s commitment to championing the changing face of women’s golf, the AIG Women’s Open sees the world’s best athletes go head-to-head in the most international line-up of the year. The Championship aims to attract new and diverse audiences by challenging perceptions of golf and delivering an exceptional off-course experience to match the unforgettable on-course action.

A headline performance from BRIT Award winner Ellie Goulding and the introduction of a Festival Fan Village contributed to a 53% growth in attendance for 2023. Now with the support of Live Nation, the Championship is set to reach even greater heights.
The partnership with see Live Nation produce the concert offering at the AIG Women’s Open. The collaboration is set to elevate the overall experience of the Championship by integrating live music performances. 2024’s headliner will be revealed soon.

The 2024 AIG Women’s Open takes place on the Old Course in St Andrews – the most revered venue in world golf – between 21-25 August 2024 and will feature the top-50 players in the Rolex Women’s World Rankings.
