New Diorama Theatre to host Holly’s Angels Festive Market 2024

New Diorama Theatre have announced that they will be the 2024 host of the award-nominated Holly’s Angels Festive Market, to celebrate the upcoming season and help bring cheer to local communities in Camden and surrounding areas on Friday 20th December.

Since December 2020, Holly Adomah and her team of volunteers have turned theatre spaces into distribution hubs to help support local artists and community members who are experiencing hardships. Previous hosts include Bush Theatre, Brixton House, Theatre Deli, Shakespeare’s Globe and Park Theatre.  Holly’s Angels has helped over 1000 community members and arts freelancers and were nominated for a Mayor of Lewisham Award for Voluntary Services in 2022. Holly’s Angels aim to reconnect communities with theatre spaces, to allow for patrons to engage in the arts and to highlight opportunities within arts spaces. Holly’s Angels will also distribute donations to charities associated with the venue, and in the local area.

Local office workers, theatre makers, café patrons and residents are invited to make donations at New Diorama between 16th and 19th December, 11am until 3pm.

Then on Friday 20th December, community members, arts freelancers and anyone in need are invited to attend the ‘market’ between 10am and 4pm to receive donations of their own choosing at a welcoming and joyful festive event with complimentary refreshments.

We encourage and welcome donations of:

  • Non-perishable foods – long-life non-dairy milk (oat, soya, rice), pasta, rice, oats, tinned soup, foods, beans and other pulses, lentils, cereal
  • Pet food – food pouches for dogs, cats and smaller household pets, dried biscuits/food,

Holly Adomah, founder of Holly’s Angels said “My team and I are extremely excited to be hosting the Festive Market at New Diorama Theatre this year, returning to North London where the initiative began.  We are so pleased to help provide support to NDT’s local residents, charities and artists who may need a helping hand during the holiday season. We’ve been doing this close to four years now and are pleased to keep Holly’s Angels going, especially in art and theatre spaces. We hope to help as many people as we can and donations will be highly appreciated”
