As we approach 2 years this July of our commitment to integrating and exploring what it means to look after our wellbeing, we just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far! Thank you to Megan Mattravers who has been at the forefront of guiding us all on what it means to observe the present moment in our fast paced world and to Francesca Mepham who has been vital in helping spread the word with her vital PR campaigns and belief in what we’re looking to achieve!
Our previous Mindfulness Weekend witnessed Megan present more ‘Mindfulness Workshops’, the aim of which was to cultivate calm and contemplate how this can be integrated into the day to day. This was also accompanied by gong bath meditations led by practitioner Liz Marsland – a Millenia old tradition consisting of a gong as an integral component of a meditative soundscape, accompanied by an array of singing bowls and bells to help calm the nervous system and promote healing.
As we learn and constantly adapt to what these mindfulness events look like, we continue on with events taking place online (Instagram Live) and for now, exploring the calming power of ‘sound’, an element that has become more so pronounced within the workshops curated.
The next set of mindfulness events, to take place on Sunday 6th April will consist of a mindfulness workshop led again by practitioner Megan Mattravers, and will be followed by a Sound Bath Meditation and DJ Set (line up yet to be confirmed).
