Together with The Great Frog, Good Charlotte also today unveil a new collaboration with the cult British jewellery house and Painted Flowers, the Los Angeles and Tokyo–based creative collective founded by the Madden Brothers, in collaboration with Tadaaki Wakamatsu. The capsule comprising of a handcrafted silver ring and long sleeve T-shirt launches today, and can be found here. Arriving at the same moment as the band step into this next chapter, the limited capsule brings together three distinct creative worlds – uniting music, design and visual identity through a shared language of craft, symbolism and subcultural influence.

This weekend sees Good Charlotte close out Slam Dunk Festival, headlining the main stage! Slam Dunk is the UK’s biggest independent pop/punk, rock and alternative festival, and 2026 marks its twentieth anniversary which is set to be their biggest yet! Therefore, it’s very fitting that Good Charlotte, a band who are instrumental in helping shape the pop/punk scene in the early 2000s, are to play the coveted headline set. These will be the first live shows that the four-piece have played in the UK since 2019, making Slam Dunk a highly sought-after event and absolutely not to be missed.

2026 has proved to be a triumphant year for Good Charlotte so far. Alongside the exciting aforementioned announcements, the band recently wrapped up their huge sold out Australian & New Zealand tour kicking off the Motel Du Cap World Tour! This Summer sees them head out on the road with Avenged Sevenfold around North America, with the dates culminating in LA at the BMO Stadium, with A Day To Remember joining them both.

Released last August, Motel Du Cap is Good Charlotte’s eighth studio album and their first in seven years. Written by Benji and Joel Madden, alongside Mattias Bylund, and produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish, Motel Du Cap marks the band’s return to their roots while pushing their sound into uncharted territory. The album blends jagged riffs, introspective lyrics, and a defiant spirit.

Their electrifying return was marked by the album’s lead single Rejects, which they performed live on Jimmy Kimmel, followed up by Stepper. On album release day, Good Charlotte made their live debut of I Don’t Work Here Anymore on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which can be seen here. They also performed on Good Morning America Summer Concert Series (watch here), followed by a performance at LIV Golf Chicago.

Benji and Joel also hosted a special fan event at the Blue Crabs baseball stadium in Waldorf, Maryland just ahead of the release. The band wanted to kick off album release week, in their hometown, where Good Charlotte began. The Maddens met and took photos with fans, who were the first to hear the new album, Motel Du Cap, ahead of its official release. Good Charlotte then performed at the One805LIVE! concert to benefit Santa Barbara County first responders. Later in the year, the band played at the Baltimore Ravens’ Halftime Show, and shortly after this, Benji and Joel performed an exclusive live set of tracks from their album Motel Du Cap at the GRAMMY Museum, and took part in a Q&A.

Good Charlotte
Good Charlotte are back, and they’re bringing their rawest, most authentic energy yet. The rock superstars—formed by twin brothers Joel Madden (vocals) and Benji Madden (guitar, vocals), alongside Paul Thomas (bass) and Billy Martin (guitar, keyboards)—have spent nearly three decades crafting anthems for the underdogs, the dreamers, and the broken. From their humble beginnings in Waldorf, Maryland, to selling over 11 million albums worldwide with hits like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and The Anthem, Good Charlotte has always worn their hearts on their sleeves. With over 2.3 Billion streams to date, 7 RIAA Certified Releases, 6 Top 10 Alt Radio Singles and 4 Top 20 Singles on the Billboard Hot 100, Good Charlotte remains a dynamic force in music with a legacy of evolution, authenticity, and lasting influence. Their latest album, Motel Du Cap isn’t just an album—it’s a testament to a band that’s never stopped growing and never stopped believing in the power of a good song.
