Today, legendary singer, songwriter, musician and producer Stevie Wonder announced that his Songs In The Key of Life Performances – 50th Anniversary Tour is coming to the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on October 13 2026, The O2 in London on November 3 2026, Co-op Live in Manchester on November 8 2026, and OVO Hydro in Glasgow on November 11 2026. Promoted by Live Nation and produced by Wonder Productions, Inc., the concert event is a celebration honoring 50 years of the groundbreaking and universally acclaimed Songs In The Key of Life – one of the most influential albums ever created – and the musical genius of Stevie Wonder. The event will feature the iconic album performed in its entirety by the twenty-five time GRAMMY® Award–winning artist.
Originally released in 1976, Songs In The Key of Life earned Stevie Wonder the third of his three GRAMMY® Awards for Album of the Year. American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Stevie Wonder is one of the most celebrated and prominent figures in popular music who, at the age of 12, was the youngest recording artist to have achieved a #1 single with “Fingertips Part 2”, and subsequently the first to simultaneously reach #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, R&B Singles and Album Charts.
To date he has amassed 49 Top Forty singles, 32 #1 singles and worldwide sales of over 100 million units. Stevie has won 25 Grammy Awards, the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. Stevie’s iconic album, Songs In The Key of Life, is archived in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress, for its cultural, historic, and aesthetic significance.
While Stevie Wonder’s songs are unequivocally classic and his influence timeless, equally laudable are his humanitarian efforts, philanthropic leadership, and generosity of spirit.
