Craig can currently be seen taking part in circus show La Clique at the Leicester Spiegeltent until the 8th January 2022. Craig tells us more about what to expect from the show!

Hi Craig, you’ll be starring in LA CLIQUE from mid November until early January at The Leicester Square Spiegeltent. How are you feeling ahead of the production?

I’m very excited to be back with LA CLIQUE. It’s such an incredible line up and can’t wait for audiences to see it!

LA CLIQUE will host a line-up of circus acts from fire breathing and sword swallowing, to aerial work and comedy. What drew you to take part in the production?

I first joined the LA CLIQUE in 2014 and had the best time.  When I got invited to join for this winter’s festive season I just had to say yes.

We hear you are doing a new quick change act with one of your fellow performers. How have you worked together to realise the performance? What have you got up your sleeve for LA CLIQUE?

I have been working with Mirko for years and we are very excited to show you one of the new things we have been working on.

Viewers may recognise you from America’s Has Got Talent – was it a good experience. Is that what took you to Las Vegas – how was that?

I have been living in Las Vegas for some time now performing at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Caesars Palace. I’m very excited to be in London for the first time in years!

What has your journey to becoming an hula hoop boy involved?

I had done gymnastics and dancing as a child and I was always putting on shows for my brothers and cousins. I left high school earning a place at university for a computer programming degree. But at the last minute I decided not to go. I got on a bus to London and auditioned for a circus school ‘national centre of circus arts’ (formally Circus Space). Three years later I got a BA honours degree in circus arts specialising in hula-hoop (yes that’s really a thing!).

What can audiences expect from the show?

Expect to laugh, cheer and have the best night out!

What would you like for audiences to take away from the show?

I hope they leave with huge smiles on their faces!!
