Returning for its 7th annual outing, The Vault Festival promises as ever to offer its ‘biggest, boldest and bravest’ programme to date. Comprising of over 400 shows and consisting of more than 2,000 artists, the 8-week long festival will bring to you a mixture of theatre, comedy, cabaret, live performance and late night parties. Taking place at The Vaults in Waterloo, you’ll be spoiled for choice!
This year’s festival will continue to champion female led work, as well as productions from LGBTQIA+ artists. Shows will take place at The Network Theatre, upstairs at the Horse and Stables Pub, the Travelling Through Bookshop, Unit 9 on Leake Street as well as other pop up venues. Theatre highlights include Edinburgh Fringe 2016 favourite Counting Sheep, A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad), Stage Edinburgh Award 2018 winners Queens of Sheba, Boys and Galvanise. Comedy favourites James Acaster and Desiree Birch take to stage as well as up and coming comics Helen Bauer and Chloe Petts. If you’re more of a night owl, Vault Lates will host a variety of events and parties including King for a Night and Eat Your Heart Out!
