Legendary British band Cymande is excited to announce an additional date to their upcoming UK tour following the release of their highly anticipated new album, Renascence’ launched today, Friday, January 31, 2025, via BMG. Fans can now look forward to an exclusive performance at Albert Hall, Manchester on Thursday, October 16, 2025. Tom Grennan announces ‘Grennan ‘25’, his biggest ever arena tour

Tom Grennan has today (Jan 31st) announced details of his biggest run of shows to date. The Grennan ‘25 tour of the UK & Ireland in September comprises 11 dates and includes a show at The O2 Arena in London on September 6th. It comes alongside the announcement of the multi-platinum-selling artist’s fourth album ‘Everywhere I Went Led Me To Where I Didn’t Want To Be’ and the unveiling of new single ‘Shadowboxing’. The 15-track album serves as the eagerly awaited follow-up to 2023’s ‘What Ifs & Maybes’ and is set for release on August 15th through Insanity Records.

Fans who pre-order Tom Grennan’s new album before Tues 4th February at 3pm GMT will gain exclusive access to a pre-sale on Wednesday 5th February at 10am. Further pre-sales including Live Nation & Metropolis Music will start on Thurs 6thFebruary at 10am. Tickets will then go on general sale on Friday 7th Feb at 10am.

Camden People’s Theatre celebrates 30 years of groundbreaking work

Since launching three decades ago Camden People’s Theatre has been the springboard for many companies now boasting international reputations. For 30 years, a small theatre in the heart of London – Camden People’s Theatre (CPT) has punched well above its weight, providing a vital platform for hundreds if not thousands of artists, dozens of whom have gone on to become major voices in the theatre and entertainment worlds in a list that includes Olivier nominees, West-End stars, internationally renowned theatre companies, and TV faces.

Initially operating on a shoestring, an article in the Ham&High newspaper appeared in March 1995, which heralded the founding of Camden People’s Theatre by “a group of idealistic young theatremakers taking over a former pub in Hampstead Road near Euston and put on politically engaged work with a community facing agenda”

Founder and Festival Director of Soho London International Film Festival (SohoLIFF) Liz Farahadi talks about celebrating its 5th anniversary

Synonymous with the world of entertainment – Soho, situated in the heart of London, is home to an array of integral arts institutions such as Soho Theatre, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and The Arts Club to name but a few. A hub for the creative mind, the industry has laid firm roots there for decades. Returning for their 5th year this January, the Soho London International Film Festival continues on with the locality’s artsy tradition – hosting a vast range of short films with stars including celebrated actors Mark Rylance, Riz Ahmed, Phil Davies and singer Toyah Wilcox all having created work, as well as emerging artists showcasing their craft. Taking place at De Lane Lea / Warner Bros Building from Thursday 23rd until Sunday 26th January, the festival will continue to champion original work, and will culminate in an awards ceremony whereby 16 categories will be acknowledged. Ahead of the event, festival founder and director Liz Farahadi tells us more about this vital platform and offers advice to anyone looking to submit work in the future!

The collection was captured on a variety of physical media formats and digitized during the pandemic. It contains unique interviews with influential actors and pioneering performers, including David Carradine, Cyd Charisse, Henry Fonda, Kathleen Freeman, Tippi Hedren, Dennis Hopper, Jane Russell, and dozens more. @sadlers_wells and @breakinconvention present the Hip Hop Games on Stratford Waterfront in @queenelizabetholympicpark this summer ahead of Breaking’s inaugural appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games (@olympics) and the opening of Sadler’s Wells East. On Saturday 3 August from 12-7pm, eight east London dancers will compete across two teams in a hip hop dance improvisation game with a series of different creative challenges in a free event for all the family.

The Hip Hop Games is a concept born in France in 2011 from dancer, choreographer and artistic director Romuald Brizolier and is the first concept that offers a hip hop dance improvisation game staged through various creative challenges. The Hip Hop Games has since toured internationally, bringing together dancers from across the world and gaining widespread recognition.  

To continue marking Breaking’s debut in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Sadler’s Wells and Breakin’ Convention are inviting visitors to watch the Breaking Olympic finals at free live watching parties on Friday 9 & Saturday 10 August. This will then be followed by a 45 minute Pilates workshop at 3:15, also on Instagram Live led by @sib_meienberg. The session is suitable for beginners, and we ask if possible, to make sure you have a yoga/exercise mat with you, and a bottle of water.
