Alice in Wonderland @ Brixton House Review

A beloved tale as quirky in narrative as it is in character, Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland asks for the reader to let go of current stresses and immerse oneself in the fantastical. The author’s invention of words, must notably the nonsensical nature of the poem Jabberwocky, an invitation to marvel in the joy of language. Offering a 21st century, metropolitan take on the classic, Jack Bradfield and Poltergeist Theatre present Alice in Wonderland, the perfect festive end to the year, suitable for families and fans of the take a like.

KATE WASSERBERG LEAVES STOCKROOM WHILE COMPANY COMPLETES TRANSITION TO NEW BUSINESS MODEL

10th Theatre Olympics: 550 performances in 70 venues in Budapest and all over Hungary

From Easter to Midsummer’s night, Budapest and Hungary will become a celebratory meeting point for the theatrical world. 200 companies from 35 countries will come to Hungary between 1stApril and 1stJuly 2023 forthe10th International Theatre Olympics. The theatres in Budapest and all over Hungary will join the Hungarian Olympics; and they will host one production from abroad and one from a trans border Hungarian theatre–the choice of which is up to them. In this way, the Hungarian-language theatres of Hungary’s neighbouring countries can be part of the Olympics, and the invitation of international companies can create long-term partnerships for Hungarian theatres.
