Following the massive success of the Grand Sumo Tournament, which took place in London for the first time in 34 years last week, it was announced today that ‘Tokyo Nights’, a very special theatrical evening of watching Sumo, eating Sushi and drinking Sake, is coming to London for the very first time in June 2026. Taking place at Borough Hall in Greenwich, this rare opportunity to immerse in a theatrical interpretation of the rites and rituals of the art of Sumo will begin on 6 June 2026. ‘Tokyo Nights’ is an absolute first for London, bringing the excitement and rarity of Sumo wrestling together with sushi dining experiences and an exploration of sake in a specially designed world inspired by the streets of Tokyo.
