J Hus announces 5 year anniversary show for critically acclaimed album ‘Big Conspiracy’ at Royal Albert Hall

British rap icon J Hus is set to celebrate the 5-year anniversary of his critically acclaimed album Big Conspiracy with an unmissable live show at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on June 17th, 2025. Arcade Fire announce special show at Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 14th May 2025

Arcade Fire, one of the most influential bands of the past two decades, have today announced a special headline show atLondon’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.

The only UK date in a run of intimate Don’t Think About Pink Elephant gigs in select cities around the world to mark the release of new album Pink Elephant on 9 May, this one-off Royal Albert Hall show will see the band perform the new record in its entirety.

Today’s news follows the recent announcement that the band is back with brand new music, nearly three years after the release of their acclaimed album WE (2022). Composed of 10 new tracks, Pink Elephant is Arcade Fire’s seventh studio album, with the first single ‘Year of the Snake’ a joyous instant classic buoyed by the enveloping warmth of Régine Chassagne’s vocals, delivering the unique trademark sound of Arcade Fire. The song’s title refers to 2025 being the Lunar Year of the Snake, which represents a time for renewal, positive transformation, and new beginnings.

Ticket presales for Arcade Fire’s show at the Royal Albert Hall begin Wednesday, 23 April, with general sales starting Friday, 25 April at 10 AM local time. Tickets will be available at livenation.co.uk.

Bobby Weir Announces First London Show In 22 Years

Grateful Dead co-founder Bobby Weir has announced a very special show with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The performance will mark Weir’s first appearance at this iconic venue and first show in London in over two decades.

Weir will be joined by his Wolf Bros bandmates: GRAMMY-winning producer Don Was on bass, along with Dead & Company bandmates Jeff Chimenti on piano and Jay Lane on drums.

Presenters, performances and broadcast details announced for Olivier Awards 2025 with Mastercard

Final details have been announced for the Olivier Awards 2025 with Mastercard, which will take place this Sunday 6 April at the Royal Albert Hall, hosted by Beverley Knight and Billy Porter.

Beverley Knight and Billy Porter will host the biggest night in theatre, this year’s Olivier Awards with Mastercard. Showcasing the best of London’s world-leading theatre industry the star-studded ceremony will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 6 April.

Herself a three-time Olivier Award nominee, Beverley Knight won in 2023 for her role in Sylvia and is soon to make her professional play debut in Marie and Rosetta at the Rose Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre.

International star of stage and screen, Billy Porter is a Primetime Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award winner, currently starring in the multi-Olivier Award-winning Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in the West End.

Clannad perform ‘Legend’ music from Robin of Sherwood at London’s Royal Albert Hall this October

Today Multi-award-winning legendary Celtic Irish folk heroes Clannad announced that they will play a very special show at London’s the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 30thOctober to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the BAFTA-winning ‘Robin of Sherwood television series.

Dua Lipa announces Royal Albert Hall show

Today, 3x GRAMMY and 7x BRIT Award-winning global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa has announced she will play a show at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on October 17th.

Fans can pre-order Dua’s new album here to receive first access for tickets on April 10th. General onsale will happen here on April 12th at 10am local time.

Last week, Dua released the first tour run with shows in Berlin, Pula and Nimes taking place in June, which sold out immediately.

On June 28th, Dua will make her Pyramid Stage debut as the Friday night headliner at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Dua’s new album, Radical Optimism, will be released May 3rd and consists of 11 songs including the euphoric club-ready track “Houdini” and recently released single “Training Season.”

Olivier Awards 2024 nominees announced

The Olivier Awards 2024 with Mastercard, theatre’s most prestigious honours, has announced its nominations. The annual awards will take place on Sunday 14 April at the iconic Royal Albert Hall with a highlights package broadcast on ITV that evening.

The competition for nominations has been fierce during an outstanding year for theatre with significantly more productions than last year. There has been a record-breaking number of new plays gracing the stage and a stunning array of on-screen stars treading the boards – including those in striking one-person performances. The nominees in the craft awards have stunned with their groundbreaking creativity.

The National Theatre has had an excellent year with a total of 15 nominations, with Dear England, The Motive And The Cue, Till The Stars Come Down and The Effect all in the running for various accolades. The National Theatre’s footballing drama Dear England is the most nominated play with a total of nine nominations including Joseph Fiennes for Best Actor, Will Close for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Gina McKee for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Rupert Goold for Best Director and The Londoner Award for Best New Play. This is alongside nominations for the Blue-i Theatre Technology Award for Best Set Design (Es Devlin), White Light Award for Best Lighting Design (Jon Clark) and d&b audiotechnik Award for Best Sound Design (Dan Balfour & Tom Gibbons). Dear England is also the only play with a nomination for Best Theatre Choreographer (Ellen Kane & Hannes Langolf).

Magic Radio’s much-loved event, Magic at the Musicals is back for another year, taking place once again at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 22ndSeptember.

Magic Radio Breakfast presenters Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott announced the first five incredible musical acts that will be part of the line-up, on their show earlier this week and tickets went on sale at 9am today.

This September West End fans will be treated to performances from musicals including the critically acclaimed, Tony Award winning Hadestown – now at London’s Lyric Theatre – as well as some feel-good fabulousness from MAMMA MIA!. The smash-hit fan favourite is one of only three musicals to have run for over 25 years in the West End.

@sadlers_wells and @breakinconvention present the Hip Hop Games on Stratford Waterfront in @queenelizabetholympicpark this summer ahead of Breaking’s inaugural appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games (@olympics) and the opening of Sadler’s Wells East. On Saturday 3 August from 12-7pm, eight east London dancers will compete across two teams in a hip hop dance improvisation game with a series of different creative challenges in a free event for all the family.

The Hip Hop Games is a concept born in France in 2011 from dancer, choreographer and artistic director Romuald Brizolier and is the first concept that offers a hip hop dance improvisation game staged through various creative challenges. The Hip Hop Games has since toured internationally, bringing together dancers from across the world and gaining widespread recognition.  

To continue marking Breaking’s debut in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Sadler’s Wells and Breakin’ Convention are inviting visitors to watch the Breaking Olympic finals at free live watching parties on Friday 9 & Saturday 10 August.
