Today, Friday, 29th November- Lana Del Rey’s first run of headline stadium dates across the UK and Ireland has sold out at the onsale. Earlier today, the singer-songwriter also announced a second show at Wembley Stadium to meet fan demand after the first sold out immediately, and the second show quickly sold out as well. This marks a momentous achievement for Del Rey, selling over 300,000 tickets across 6 stadium dates, making her the highest selling solo artist in 2025 across the UK and Ireland. The 2025 UK & Ireland Summer Tour will kick off June 23rdin Cardiff before traveling on to Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin, and ending at Wembley Stadium in London with two sold out nights.

The announcement follows a series of sensational live shows in 2024 – including headline performances at festivals including Coachella, Reading & Leeds, and Rock en Seine, as well as her first stadium show at Fenway Park, Boston, USA.

Today, The Old Vic announces that Rupert Goold will be the next Artistic Director of The Old Vic, following an extensive process led by a Succession Committee of the Board. Rupert will succeed Matthew Warchus, who will step down from the role in 2026 after 11 years as Artistic Director.

Rupert Goold is a multi-award-winning director and has been the Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre since 2013. During his tenure there, some of his notable productions have included Tammy Faye, Spring Awakening, Richard III, Patriots, King Charles III and Ink, many of which transferred to the West End and Broadway.
