Diversity is set to take to the road on a major new tour of the UK and Ireland in spring 2026.

The UK’s most successful dance group will bring their new concept tour SOUL to 31 towns and cities, performing over 60 dates between February and May 2026, including an exciting five-show residency at the Cliffs Pavilion in Diversity’s hometown Southend.

The 2026 tour is based around the technological advancements of artificial intelligence, what the future holds, and what it truly means to be human within the digital age. Awarding £3,000 for the best original script by a writer new to radio, this year’s Imison Award shortlistees are Tether by Isley Lynn, The Mini-Break by Chloë Myerson, Tribe of Two By Malaika Kegode and Under Milk Woods Tywyn by Manon Steffan Ros The award was judged by members of the Society of Authors’ Scriptwriters Group: Ian Billings, Imogen Church, James Clarke and Sean Grundy, Robin Mukherjee and Rhiannon Tise.

Edson Burton, Satinder Chohan, Robert Forrest and Dan Rebellato are the shortlisted writers for this year’s Tinniswood Award, which is organised by the Society of Authors and Writers Guild of Great Britain to recognise the best audio drama script of the year. The Tinniswood Award judges this year were Nicola Baldwin and Lucy Gough(co-chairs of the WGGB Audio Committee), 2021 Tinniswood Award winner Christopher Douglas and Writers’ Guild Best Radio Drama 2018 winner Ming Ho.

Following the announcement of the all-star extravaganza Back to the Beginning celebrating the true creators of heavy metal earlier this month, Black Sabbath have announced a host of further artists to the extraordinary lineup. The sold-out show will see the original Black Sabbath – Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward – return to play for the first time in 20 years on July 5^th at Villa Park.

Back to the Beginning, which will be hosted and compered by American actor Jason Momoa, will see Ozzy Osbourne play his own short set before joining with Black Sabbath for his final bow. The new acts added to the bill include Tool, Guns ‘N’ Roses and Rival Sons, who will join Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, Lamb Of God, Anthrax and Mastodon.

Citing the legendary jazz saxophonist and band leader John Coltrane as an inspiration, experimental saxophonist Sean Khan has too inspired others and helped to shape the musical landscape with various albums, showcasing Sean’s versatility as a musician, experimenting with Broken-Beats, Jazz and Brazilian rhythms. His recent endeavour – an album with The Modern Jazz and Folk Ensemble released in 2024 of the same name delving into the rich tradition of folk music. Due to perform with the ensemble on Thursday 6th March at Rich Mix as part of celebrated organisation Certain Blacks’ Afro Futures Festival, which takes place from Thursday 6th to Sunday 9th March, Sean tells us more about what to expect from his curated set.

An additional London show has been added to the Grand National Tour. Kendrick Lamar and SZA will perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday, 23 July 2025.
