The Olivier Awards 2026 with Cunard will shine a spotlight on the impact of theatre across the UK with the launch of Love Your Local Theatre, celebrating the vital role local theatres play as incubators of talent, championing creativity, connection and culture in communities beyond London.

At the heart of the campaign is a nationwide social media drive inviting audiences to share what their local theatre means to them. Participants are encouraged to post a video, image or graphic celebrating their chosen venue, using the hashtag #LoveYourLocalTheatre. Each eligible post will be entered into a prize draw, with one winner receiving an unforgettable theatre experience of two tickets to the Olivier Awards 2026 with Cunard, a two-night stay at The May Fair Hotel, and £500 in Theatre Tokens to spend at one of 300+ theatres nationwide. The prize draw is open until 11.59pm on Thursday 5 March.
Marking its 50th anniversary, the Olivier Awards will see past winners and nominees recognise the local venues that first inspired them and nurtured their talent. By celebrating these formative connections, Love Your Local Theatre will emphasise the importance of theatres across the breadth of the UK in developing world-class creatives and sustaining the wider theatre ecosystem.

Released on April 24^th, Glow is Michael’s twenty-third solo record and first full album of original, self-written material. Vintage  was written by Michael, along with co-writers Amy Wadge and Zak Lloyd (who also produced the album) in a process Michael describes as “the happiest I’ve ever been in a studio.”

The OffWestEnd Awards (Offies), established to celebrate independent theatre across the Off-West End, have announced the 2026 nominations, continuing their mission to recognise exceptional work across the sector.

Following the introduction of a streamlined awards framework last year for the ceremony, the Offies underwent their first full year operating using this evolved model. The structure has continued to bed in and develop, offering a clearer, more flexible way of recognising excellence across the wide range of forms, scales, and practices that define independent theatre today.

Italia Conti, one of the UK’s leading and longest-established performing arts institutions, has announced that it will mark its 115th anniversary in 2026 with the launch of the inaugural Noël Coward Scholarship, alongside new charitable funding designed to widen access to professional training in acting, musical theatre and dance.

Founded in 1911 by actress and teacher Italia Emily Stella Conti, the school began as a small stage school in central London and has since grown into an internationally respected training institution. Over its 115-year history, Italia Conti has helped launch the careers of countless performers, with alumni including Noël Coward himself, Wendy Richard, Tracey Ullman, Naomi Campbell, Louise Redknapp, Martine McCutcheon, Danny Mayes, Pixie Lott, James Nelson-Joyce, Layton Williams, Mimi Keene and many more across successive generations of British and international talent.

Grammy-nominated R&B songstress Summer Walker has announced her highly anticipated 2026 Still Finally Over It Tour, a major arena run promoted by Live Nation. The tour launches May 26th at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and hits key cities including Brooklyn, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, and Los Angeles, before wrapping July 3rd at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Global superstar Harry Styles is set to make U.K. history this summer with a record-breaking 12-night run at Wembley Stadium connected by EE. His Together, Together tour will mark the most performances by any artist in a single year at the iconic venue,  surpassing Coldplay’s ten-night run last summer.

In addition, Styles will now hold the Wembley Stadium record for most concerts performed by a solo artist during a single concert run in the venue’s history, surpassing the eight-nights set by Taylor Swift in 2024.

Produced by Live Nation, the massive 57-city tour kicks off on Friday, April 24 at 3Arena in Dublin making stops in London, Paris, Atlanta, Houston, Toronto,  and more before wrapping up in Inglewood, CA at Intuit Dome on Friday, August 21.
