2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Corinne Bailey Rae, the Grammy Award-winning singer’s acclaimed debut album that introduced the world to her soulful, sun-soaked sound.

Originally released in February 2006, the record went straight to Number 1 in the UK and produced timeless global hits like ‘Put Your Records On’ and ‘Like A Star’, earning critical praise, multi-platinum sales, and Brit Award and Grammy nominations. Two decades on, the album’s warm blend of soul, pop, and jazz remains a touchstone for listeners and a defining moment in mid-2000s music.

In celebration of the anniversary Corinne Bailey Rae will be performing the album in full at the Royal Albert Hall in London on October 26^th, 2026. The show will also include hits from her further three albums – The Sea, The Heart Speaks In Whispers and Black Rainbows – all of which have been garlanded with critical praise around the world, including two Mercury Prize nominations in the UK.

Following exceptional demand, Bon Jovi, the GRAMMY Award®-winning and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band, have announced a third and final show at London’s Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 9th September 2026. The band’s first show at the famed London venue is on Friday 4th September, with a second date recently added for Sunday 6th September.

To nurture understanding, opportunities to broaden awareness on this particular subject matter are increasingly vital – cinema a great way of depicting the reasons why choices are made, fostering the beginnings of some sort of dialogue. Recently qualifying for the 2026 Oscars, short film In the Clouds centres the day to day reality of an Iranian refugee family – humanising their existence. Writer and director Alexandra Bahíyyih Wain has achieved acclaim for the timely film, having won the Grand Prize in the Breaking Boundaries category at Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival and Best Director at BIFA qualifying Worcester Film Festival. Ahead of the 2026 Oscar longlist announcement, Alexandra tells us more about the inspirations for exploring the subject matter of migration further, collaborating with the creative team to develop the film and what what she’s learned from creating it.

After a spectacular world premiere that closed this summer’s Big Feastival in front of over 20,000 fans, Alex James’ Britpop Classical will hit the road for its first-ever UK tour in March 2026, bringing the biggest hits of the Britpop era to life with the epic scale of a full live orchestra.

This one-of-a-kind live experience will open at the Royal Albert Hall on 11th March 2026, before heading to major venues in Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Sheffield.
